Well-maintained and well-kept place, I loved attentive personnel.
The hotel was fairly clean with nice interior and nestled in a very very good building. The room I booked was compact and stylish with a good sized bed, extra milk, a cupboard. The location was peaceful and...

This was my worst hotel experience. I stayed in a single room, which cost £155 for one night (no breakfast included - not that I would have ate the food!), so not exactly cheap. The room was tiny, literally a bed and door - there was a 30 year old portable tv with a bad picture and a trouser iron that I would not have put any of my clothes in close proximity of. The bathroom was very dated, chipped, cracked, rusty and genrally garish. As I say the most uncomfortable hotel experience I have ever had, I almost walked and im not a dramatic person. I would have killed for a travel lodge! At least they are clean, modern and bigger than a sleeper train room!

The location was ideal as a base for exploring London, very close to two tubes stations giving easy access to london
The hotel was not up to the standard expected for a 3* hotel, carpets throughout the hotel were dirty and stained, all areas of the hotel are in need of a full redecoration

We got exceptionally clean superior queen room with a bath as an upgrade, nice gesture. Coffee, temperature control and 2 windows were good.

the location was really the only decent thing about the hotel
the room was old and dirty. the bed was so uncomfortable. i could feel every spring through the mattress. the tv was tiny and only got about 4 channels. the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. the room was expensive and didn't live up to how much it cost.

Very nice reception staff. The room was clean and the window opened so I could get some air.
The corridors were narrow and stuffy. But not a big deal

The great area that surrounds the hotel has loads of different culture restaurants which are great!
Squeaky floor boards, small bathrooms and small tv! Not much!

The first room we were assigned in the basement had a terrible smell. Thank goodness the hot water wasn't working and the shower kept on dripping throughout the night because we were given another room on the 2nd floor which was so much better. The only thing that I find unfair is that if we hadn't had those "mishaps", we would have had to spend our nights in a badly aired and terribly smelly room for the same price. I do think these rooms should be lowered in price or the clients informed that they would be hosted in a smelly basement room! A part from that the staff were wonderful and the second room too! I probably will come and stay with you again but I will ask not to be put in the basement!

The location makes it a perfect place to stay while exploring London. It's right around the corner from the Baywater tube station, there's several inexpensive places to eat, and there's also a pharmacy and Tescos....
